Sunshine… one thing people say helps when you’re feeling down in the dumps. But some people just liked being outside and one of those people was none other than Zora Graysen. Whether it be to work out or just lounge with a good book, Zora would more likely be outside. And that’s where we currently find her, outside in the backyard of her Floridian home that she shares with her longtime boyfriend, Leifi Maivia. Wearing nothing but a white and black bikini, Zora was sitting in one of their loungers, black designer sunglasses upon her face and a copy of Anne Rice’s “Queen of the Damned” as music plays in the background. There was a slight breeze in the air when Zora heard the doorbell ring.
» LEIFI | MAIVIA «
"I’ll get it."
Zora could heard Leifi go from the kitchen, where he was preparing lunch for them, to the front foyer followed by his voice and what sounded like a female’s. She didn’t know who it was but was starting to get a bit hungry, so she got up from her seat and wandered into the kitchen. She saw some carrots cut up and picked one up, popping it into her mouth as Leifi returned… with the purpled haired Morgane Renaud tailing behind him. Things had been awkward between the two of them for the better part of two years and since she (Morgane) was dating Leifi’s brother Metu, there was always tension at family events.
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"What the hell is she doing here?"
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"I knew this was going to be a bad idea. I don’t know why I thought about it. I’ll just be going."
Leifi stopped her.
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"Let her go Leifi. Whatever she wants… I don’t want to hear it. She’s made my life hell practically for the past two years to the point where I had to hide in the corner at family parties just to avoid pissing her off."
» LEIFI | MAIVIA «
"No! This crap is going to get handled right here, right now. I’m sick of you two being at each other’s throats and tearing each other down. It’s time you hash it out. It’s been too long."
Zora remained quiet and instead of saying anything, grabbed another carrot and loudly chomped on it as she leaned on the counter with her hip cocked out to the side.
» LEIFI | MAIVIA «
"I’m not the only one who’s starting to get irritated with the way the two of you have been acting. Metu is getting upset… Unc is probably the most pissed off out of all of us. So get your stuff together and hash this out. It’s ridiculous! You’re both grown ass women."
Clearly irritated, Leifi walked back over to finish prepping lunch. With a roll of her eyes, Zora snatched up a few more carrots before sashaying back outside and to the lounger. It takes a few minutes… but Morgane emerges from the home into the backyard.
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"Look, I just want to talk OK?"
Taking a seat in the lounger next to Zora, Morgane faces her.
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"It’s taken me a while to admit this to myself… but I treated you like shit and I know that I should’ve not done that. I was a cocky ass bitch ever since our match and I wanted to apologize for the way that I’ve treated you. I realized that while watching the latest Reinas tournament… that I was wrong about you. You have a tremendous amount of talent and heart. Who the hell was I to tear you down and make you feel inferior?"
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"I’ve been asking myself that same question for a very long time. I get that you trained, well you had a hand in training me… but that doesn’t mean that you’re the greatest of all time. Because if I recall correctly, you became a trainer because your career didn’t pan out the way you wanted it and you fell back on training."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"I deserve that."
Morgane was rubbing her knees with her hands, trying to think of a way to break this awkwardness between them. Zora continued to sit there, her glasses shading her constant eye rolling.
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"So… are you ready for your next show? Leifi has told practically everyone that he thinks you stand a very good chance at winning."
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"Well I think that I do. When I sit and literally look at who is in this match with me, I feel good about things. There’s maybe one maybe two women who I feel a bit threatened by and her name surely isn’t Crystal Hilton. She makes you seem bearable."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"Yeah I’ve heard a few things about her and they all make me cringe."
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"You’re not the only one. Her ego is… way out there. If I was her father, I would be ashamed of her because her demeanor in the ring is quite shitty. Honestly, she should just go back to whatever she was doing before. She obviously thinks that everything should be handed to her on a silver platter just because her father is a so-called famous wrestler in Mexico. And I use that term loosely because I don’t think I’ve ever heard of him."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"Well I know that I haven’t."
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"And when you add in the fact she is cocky as all hell cause she’s been in a movie and can sing… she acts like she’s the best damn thing that GZWA will ever see."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"I can tell you one thing she’s probably fabricating her being an entertainment sensation because she’s insecure. People tend to make things up when they want to hide who they really are. Which is another reason why I highly doubt her dad was famous in the land of burritos. I’ve never seen her in anything or heard a lick of her singing voice. It probably is the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard anyway."
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"Oh I could go for a burrito right about now. And I totally agree with you about her “starlet” status and singing voice. I’d rather listen to William Hung sing over her. But throwing her skeletor ass over the top rope isn’t going to be a problem. She’s going to do most of the work for me because she’s going to mess up again. She can’t get the job done against me and she’s proven that before. And this bitch has the nerve to call me fat. I’ll choke a bitch out if I have to."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"I would really like to know where she came up with that one. You have to be the fittest person I know. How many abs are you up to now?"
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"Almost at a six pack with thick thighs."
» LEIFI | MAIVIA «
"YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY YOU ARE!"
Leifi shouted out from the kitchen that caused both women to giggle.
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"Yeah, in all honesty Crystal Hilton or whatever she calls herself… she’s no threat to me because she’s nothing but a talker and excuse maker who talks trash on everyone, including women that are supposed to be her “friend” like Talia Areano. I want to eliminate her more than anyone else."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"Maybe what needs to happen is I go out there and kick her ass. Maybe it will bring her down to reality and she can see that she’s not as great as she likes to think that she is."
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"I doubt that will happen because she’ll just make excuses. But Talia doesn’t really have a backbone so I don’t think she’s going to be much of a problem for me. And before you say anything… yes, I was just like her up until I took my leave of absence from GZWA. But I used that time to get better and hone my craft. I’m not the same, weak minded individual that let the words of some purple haired skank with a five head get to me."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"Ouch… harsh much?"
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"You kind of deserved that Morg."
Morgane nodded her head in agreement as she relaxed her stance a little bit.
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"So who else is in it that you don’t deem a threat?"
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"Well there’s Ashleigh Cash who doesn’t seem to be more than a pretty face with nothing but air between her ears. Nobody in the world can be that bubbly and have any amount of brains. I want to slap the smile off her face it disgusts me a bit."
Licking her lips a bit, Zora adjusted her body so that she was facing Morgane a bit.
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"And then there’s Vanessa who looks more like some haunted house reject than an actual wrestler. I don’t get anything about her but I’m looking forward to finding out."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"That’s a crock of shit if I ever did hear one."
The two women start laughing again.
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"But in all seriousness, the only two women I’m concerned about are Lily Evol and Laura Jackson and that’s due in part to Lily’s sheer size and Laura’s longevity. Laura has been in this game for a while now and she’s learned from it. So she knows what she has to do to get the job done."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"And rightfully so you are a bit worried about her. Lily too… she’s a big girl and I’m not talking about just her weight. She’s like what… 6 feet tall?"
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"I think so. But that girl looks as though she’s built like a brick shithouse and will probably make someone like Crystal quiver with fear because she’s underestimated her just like she’s done with everyone else."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"To be honest if I can be… everyone thus far has underestimated you. Hell… even I did when we had that match. I didn’t think you were going to push me that far and that the match was going to be an easy win. You’ve proven me wrong each time you have stepped out there and it doesn’t pain me to say that anymore."
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"Yeah well don’t think that because we’re getting along right now that I’ve forgiven you for 2 years of torment."
» MORGANE | RENAUD «
"Oh I didn’t expect it to happen overnight. I am fully prepared to gravel if I have to."
» ZORA | GRAYSEN «
"Just… don’t act like such a bitch anymore and I think we should be OK."
» LEIFI | MAIVIA «
"Lunch is served ladies."
Leifi appears from the house, carrying a tray with three plates on it. On those plates were delicious looking salads and cups of soup and three glasses of Zora’s famous lemonade tea. Zora scooted a little bit and sat upright so that Leifi could join her. The scene faded out as the three of them started to enjoy their lunch.
