Ryan Kendrick | Weapon-X 23
Its the early hours of the day before Primetime, before the sun has even risen in the beautiful city of Dallas, Texas. And though most the city slumbers, one man is awake not too far away, hitting the weights at The Star in Frisco, as he got prepared for his match. This man was none other then Weapon X-23, Ryan Kendrick. Ryan in fact, has been here all week, training on and off with a variety of the local celebrities, such as Ezekiel Elliot, Jason Witten, and Dez Bryant. Even Alumni popped in, as Ryan got a chance to meet legend Emmett Smith and get advice from him. Either way, with all the coming and going of players and staff alike, Kendrick wasnt surprised when he saw that the GZWA camera crew had finally tracked him down. Sitting up from his bench, Kendrick would grab a can of Monster from the floor next to him, and pop it open as Adrienne Taylor approached him.
Adrienne Taylor | Hot Spot Host
"I'll dive right into it Ryan. Last time on Primetime, you took on Chance Justice and Jason Heagerty in a triple threat, where you seemed to be the target of their attacks, and subsequently took the pin. What were you're thoughts on the match, and how it went down?"
Ryan chuckled a bit, shaking his head.
"I find it real funny Adrienne. These two talk like they're all big and bad, but when it came down to it, neither of them could live up to the hype. I mean Jason even went on and on and on about not needing a partner, but thats what it took for me to get pinned- and he couldn't even do it himself. I seem to remember him spending a good chunk of the match at ringside on the floor. As for it all ended up, I'm not happy about being pinned, but shit happens. I'll get them back for it, no doubt. For now, my focus is on Vinnie."
"Speaking of Senor Vinnie, tonight you'll be having a rematch with the man who pinned you on the night of your return. How do you plan on having it turn out differently then the last time?"
Ryan would actually growl a bit, remembering the distraction that caused his loss to Vinnie the first time around.
"Imma make sure theres no fucking corporate screwheads in the damn crowd, thats for sure. See, Vinnie might not realize it himself, but he was a fraction of a second from being beat. This time, there won't be any distractions, and if there is, I will make them regret it. Speaking of which, I do still owe dumb and dumber, dont I?"
Adrienne would raise an eyebrow in response.
"Are you talking about the Machines Enforcers, by any chance?"
"Yea, thats right. But I'll keep keep it short and sweet, and reiterate what i said a second ago. Vinnie, I had you beat if it wasn't for the Machine. And I'll prove it tonight."
"Well, thats all for right now Ryan, we'll see you later tonight."
Later tonight...
Ryan Kendrick smirks his signature smirk as he walks into the American Airlines Center for his Jordan-contract-mandatory press conference, significantly late. As sits down, he cracks open a monster, kicks his feet up, ready for the questions to come flying.
"Henry Barr, Joe O' Wrestling. Tonight you'll be facing Vinnie, who you commented on earlier I know, but Vinnie has added his own comments since then, calling you a disappointment, and-"
"Actually Henry, I saw that little interview Vinnie did. That was cute, bub. You have some nerve calling me a disappointment when all you did was ramble for half an hour, mostly incoherently, and try to talk down to me like a over the hill star from 20 years ago. Newsflash genius, I'm not even 30 yet, and I've done more in my wrestling career then you have done in you're entire life bub. I don't give a shit about your cash, your love life, or your winning streak. What I do care about, is all this shit talking you seem to do. You seem to have yourself on this pedestal like you're above the rest of us mortals, which real ironic considering that you're accusing me of the same thing. Problem is bub, I don't have an ego problem like you. I am the best at what I do. And what I do Vinnie, is break jackasses like you for fun. Now sorry guys, I gotta go win a match."
