The camera opens to a dimly lit, smoky room with four television monitors, each showing static. One by one, however, each of the Bradley Clan’s faces appear.
“My name is Michael Charles Bradley. Nickname - ‘The Next Level.’ I am a two-time GZWA Television Champion and the longest-reigning TV Champ by both individual and combined reigns. I am a three-time all-state football and track athlete and multi-time Battle of the Year breakdance champion.”
“My name is Danielle Marie Bradley Williams. Nickname - ‘The Guru.’ I was the first-ever female wrestling captain in Brookline High School and Colby College history. I have trained over two dozen current and former pro wrestling, MMA and boxing champions.”
“My name is Kristopher Andre Williams. Nickname - ‘The Bouncer.’ I am a two-time all-Big East and one-time All-American defensive lineman. I am a two-time Massachusetts high school football player of the year.”
“My name is Jessica Delilah Isaacson Bradley. Nickname - ‘Dynamo.’ I am an All-American and World Champion gymnast and diver, and a member of the URI Rams Hall of Fame.”
“Together, we are The Bradley Clan - and this is our Manifesto.”
“We strive to be recognized as the greatest stable - and family - in the history of professional wrestling, by any means necessary.”
“We strive to take on all challengers and give fans and critics the show of a lifetime every time we step into the squared circle, by any means necessary.”
“We strive to claim every championship in GZWA that we can get our hands on, by any means necessary.”
“And lastly, but most importantly, we strive to cleanse GZWA - and the real world - of authoritarianism and corporarism, by any means necessary.”
“And obviously that doesn't sit well with some people - not the least of whom is Xion Zeros and the rest of his puppets in The Machine.”
“Z has tried to break our spirit and crush our uprising at every turn - but that's only made us stronger. He, his tactics and his subordinates are about as intimidating altogether as Gru and the Minions plaguing your conservative aunt’s Facebook page!”
“We didn’t ask for the first four slots in the Riot Match. We just didn't care where The Machine decided to put us. But since they're so thickheaded that they misinterpreted such a cut-and-dry statement, we might as well make the most of it.”
“You hear the term ‘pack mentality’ thrown around a lot in this sport. Sometimes deserved, but most of the time exaggerated. Well, guess what? At Riot Control, you're going to witness firsthand the dictionary definition of pack mentality. Because once the four of us are in the ring together, each poor sap that steps down that ramp is going to get EATEN ALIVE!”
“We have a pack mentality in everything we do. In our two years away from this company, we bonded over our mutual interests and our appetite for justice. We storm the gates of tyranny and corporatism and stand up for the oppressed and marginalized - both in the wrestling ring and the real world.”
“We feast on capitalist and fascist pigs in government, and we do the same when we lace up our Nikes and enter the squared circle. You see, The Machine is just like every other authoritarian regime you see in the news today. They present themselves as a benevolent force, with a cause greater than themselves, to Make Wrestling Great Again. And then, through nepotism, crushing dissent and putting out the worst possible product, they piss on their audience and tell them it's raining!”
“That's why we came back. To save this company from itself. To have some fun. To bring chaos to GZWA. And, of course, to claim every title in GZWA, including the GZWA Championship!”
“But some still dare question our motives, our accomplishments, our talents. The Mega Busters refused our offer of allyship, calling us a bunch of petty names in a series of Tweets that would make more sense poured out of a can of Alphabet Soup!”
“Equinox questioned the legitimacy of my two Television Title reigns. Son, it doesn't get any more legitimate than holding the title for a year and a half combined and fighting to near LITERAL death to defend it!”
“Casey Cortez already forgot my and Kris’s names? It would do her some good to relive her family and our family’s history - from Mike’s rivalry with Amanda to even just the last two episodes of Primetime!”
“So it comes down to this. The Riot Match. The four of us versus The Mega Busters, Casey Cortez, Equinox, Carnage, The Rocketts, The Enforcers and all those other unfortunate souls. With us banding together from the start, anyone who stands in our way - friend, foe or neither - will be picked off one by one… and then the real fun begins.”
“We recognize there will be only one name on that belt. But by any means necessary, there will be four names behind it… and each one will be a Bradley!”
“And if you don't know… now you know!”
The Bradleys each produce a kendo stick, swing forward and destroy the monitors from the inside.
