Eliza Frost lets out a sigh of frustration as she falls backwards onto the couch, plopping her head onto her big sister's lap and prompting Dominique to raise an eyebrow. The two sisters are at the Showtime beach house, a rather swanky place down in Florida. They've been enjoying the sun and surf, but Eliza has been struggling with enjoying it whole-heartedly with concern weighing heavily on her mind.
Domi: What's up with you then, hmm?
The younger Frost's brow is furrowed with worry as she kicks her feet about a bit, her legs slung over the couch's armrest.
Eliza: It's Bobbi. Something is up with her.
Dominique shrugs her shoulders a bit, seeming unconcerned.
Domi: Well with such a big match coming up that's hardly a surprise.
Eliza shakes her head though, looking unconvinced as she frowns, brushing a lock of hair behind her ear.
Eliza: No, it's not just that, there's something more going on...
Dominique's nostrils flare a bit and her eyebrows rise barely perceivably as she manages to catch herself before she can reveal anything with a sudden shift expression or gulp audibly. Could her sister be catching on to what she's been doing behind her back? She certainly doesn't want to let on that she has any idea what Eliza might be talking about.
Domi: Are you sure? I'd imagine the match is plenty enough to cause worry...
Dominique tries to veer the discussion back to the match, but again Eliza shakes her head.
Eliza: Yeah, it's a big deal for sure and she's worrying about it and told me as much, but...
Domi: -BUT you aren't looking at it from her point of view to realize just how important to her this is. Your career has only just begun and while it's a big deal for you both to have made it this far, reaching for the very top title, her path to it has been much longer, the weight she bears much heavier.
Dominique runs her fingers through Eliza's hair, trying to soothe her sister's mind and cease her unbeknownst prodding into matters between the two blonds, which Dominique realizes might be weighing on the ever goodie-two-shoes Bobbi's mind.
Domi: She may still look fantastic, but a long career of wrestling still wears you down, pushing your body to it's limits over and over, it's a strain physically and mentally and Bobbi knows that eventually the day will come when she'll have to close this chapter of her life and this would be one hell of a highlight to fit in.
Eliza finally nods a bit, her expression softening ever so slightly from the worried frown.
Eliza: I guess you're right...
Dominique tries not to let a smirk rise to her lips as she feels the situation shifting firmly into her grasp, knowing how to handle her sister. She instead smiles down at her.
Domi: We just have to support her, we do want you both to do as well as possible and sometimes Bobbi does let her worries get in her way, though of course she makes up for it with her gusto.
Eliza's lips curl into a hint of a smile as well as she nods again.
Eliza: Yeah, we need to be there for her so she knows no matter what we'll always have her back, even if it turns out it's me she has to pin for the win. Course, I sure ain't gonna make it easy.
She winks at Dominique as she hops to her feet.
Eliza: Thanks for the chat. I think I'm gonna head out for a quick splash before the sun sets and it starts getting too cool.
Domi: You do that, better enjoy the beach while it's right there. You'll be sorry when we're back home if you wasted the chance to.
Eliza nods again and takes off. Dominique lets her ruby lips curl into a grin and a light chuckle rise from her throat. She has all the strings firmly in hand, no reason to worry. Her little sister may be nosy, but she's also easily distracted. So long as she plays her cards right Dominique is certain she will have all things going her way exactly according to plan. Eliza's smile however fades the moment she's out of her sister's sight. She doesn't want to worry her big sis, but she's certain something is up that Bobbi is refusing to bring up. And there's one person on hand that knows her unlike anyone else...
Moments later Eliza pokes her head out the door and glances about, then upon spotting Showtime reclining on a rather comfy looking lounge chair, taking in the last rays of the sun with shades on and a beer in hand, she walks on over.
Eliza: Michael? Can we talk? I'm worried about Bobbi.
Showtime sits the beer down on the table next to him as he slides the shades down his face slightly to look up at Eliza, a hint confused.
Showtime: Of course? Sit down and lets have a chat.
Eliza takes a seat on the edge of the meant for sunbathing chair, not feeling like leaning back and relaxing 'till she gets to the bottom of this.
Eliza: Bobbi is like SUPER stressed out and before you say it, yes, I get that she's really worried about the match and what it means to her career, but I just KNOW there's SOMETHING else wrong.
She crosses her arms and huffs a bit.
Eliza: And neither she nor big sis have been any help figuring out what it is.
Michael sighs a bit and sits up as he adjusts his shades.
Showtime: Look, I've known Bobbi more than long enough to know that she over worries about everything. She worries about how she can handle things, how other people will handle things. She's always worrying...even when it looks like she isn't. It's a pretty sure bet she's worried about something. It's just part of who she is.
Michael says trying to do his best to comfort Eliza, as he doesn't want her stressing about things on top of Bobbi already freaking out about things too. Eliza still can't help feeling like it's not that simple and she huffily crosses her legs as well.
Eliza: You've known her a HECK of a lot longer than me, that's why I came to you, but I just...
She takes a moment to compile her words.
Eliza: ...I feel like there's more, like both she and Dominique are holding something back. Bobbi's usually so open, but now...
Showtime: Maybe, whatever it is she's worried about that she's not telling you....is because she's afraid of hurting you, or how you might react to it...
Michael moves his seating to basically sit next to Eliza as he gently wraps an arm around her.
Showtime: Whatever it is, just know that she loves you...and in my opinion, if there is truly something else...she's just trying to protect you from it in her own personal way. I'm not saying its the right way...but it's always been her way.
Eliza leans against him, resting her head against his shoulder.
Eliza: I just can't help being worried about her. She's WAY too important to me for me to just ignore how she's feeling and I just know something is not right.
Showtime: Well what do you suggest we do?
Michael says honestly because if Eliza has an idea, he's willing to listen. Eliza furrows her brow again, this time in concentration as she tries to figure out just how to proceed.
Eliza: Hmmmnnn... if it's something she specifically doesn't want ME to know about for my own good, then maybe YOU could get it out of her, help her with whatever it is if you can.
Showtime grimaces a bit at that suggestion.
Showtime: I know Bobbi well enough that when she doesn't want to talk about something, trying to force it out of her only causes a fight. I know you're only trying to help but I think this is something we need to just leave alone and allow it to play out for now...
Michael says as he gently rubs her back.
Showtime: Besides, just like Bobbi...you have a world title shot in a few weeks. After we get back to Pittsburgh your main mission should be focusing and training for that match.
Eliza hangs her head and sighs, but then hesitantly nods her head.
Eliza: I suppose you're right. Pushing her when she already has so much on her plate is only going to make everything harder for her. I guess whatever it is I'll have to hope it either gets sorted out or she'll be more open to discuss it AFTER one of us wins the title.
She smiles a bit as she winks at Showtime, then wraps her arms around him, squeezing him close tightly. Michael chuckles slightly and gently pats Eliza's butt as she wraps her arms around him.
Showtime: As long as its one of you, I'm certain the celebration back at the Mansion will be epic!
Eliza smiles more warmly and gently kisses his lips.
Eliza: You'd better believe we'll be bringing nothing short of our A-game. As we always do.
Michael smiles feeling like he's at least done his job of helping Eliza feel a bit more of ease.
Showtime: Good girl, that's what I want to hear...now come here...
Michael lays back on the chair bringing Eliza on top of him as the two begin to make out with one another as the scene slowly fades out to black.
