I suppose I should preface this discussion with a few things.
I have a pet peeve when I'm writing matches or shows like this and I don't like to be messaged about details to results while I'm working. I got multiple messages from those of you after the deadline and I simply didn't respond because I wasn't giving details on what I was working or the fact that the match that you were asking about was already finished. I'm not making exceptions for anyone sending in stuff after the specified deadlines for this event when I gave everyone roughly a month in advance. I wasn't being mean in that regard, but simply enforcing my own deadline.
That being said, I'm sure a lot of people read these results thinking that this is a reflection of their positions in the fed or some sort of "punishment". Incorrect. It's nothing like that. A lot of people roleplayed for this show and sent in segments and a lot of you didn't. I was disappointed at the turnout for this event, especially the amount of time for the deadline, but at the end of the day, it's your characters if you do or don't do anything with them. That being said, it didn't change the course for my plans on how I wanted to do the two Riot Matches. The main two things that I had to reconsider greatly were the winners and that took a lot of re-reading and reflecting on the work that was sent in for this event.
From top to bottom, my primary goal for this event was wrapping up some storylines, giving others a direction to go to next, and ultimately ending "The Machine" storyline. I'm at the point where I felt it's ran it's course and I'm done with it at this point.
Opener: Taralyn Skye def. Amanda Cortez (w/ Rose Cortez)
TBH this was a last minute addition to the card and I humbly thank ❤Rose❤ for getting something in even though she was on vacation like she informed me about beforehand. She merely wanted to put Taralyn Skye/Bella Sinclair over here, even though I went with the tired and true Rose gets KO'd by Amanda spot. I never noticed how much I use that spot until I went back and proofread this show.
Queen of Queens Championship Match - Fujiko Mine def. Vi Malkov (c) to become NEW champion
Vi. had a great reign as champion and went above and beyond to help us out in GZWA. I know I say this every time, but it means a lot that someone who's technically not full-time to the fed would come in and do these appearances as needed instead of just taking the belt and never to be seen again. Fujiko is looking to be the woman to beat after Reinas Tres in more ways than one. I was thinking about it when I was brainstorming for this match that I never wrote a spot where the EMTs have to cart someone out of the match early (think Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks in Hell In A Cell) and thought that would be a great narrative to go with here. Vi forced Susie Price to black out at Reinas Tres to win the Women's Championship so I figure I had to turn it up a notch on her brutality. Still had a blast writing this one though. I hope Vi and Fujiko enjoyed it as much as I did writing it.
Women's Riot Match - Crystal Hilton becomes #1 Contender for Women's Championship
Reading this one back, I feel like this wasn't as good as the main event, but I had a bullet point list I was shooting for in terms of storytelling. This match has a lot more filler than the main event does. One part of that came from the number of people who asked to be in this match and didn't give me anything to work with so I'm winging it. Then the other part comes from me spacing out/blanking out on what to do with the various returns/debuts. Athena gave me free reign to do with Blake Harper and Serena Dent here so I had a bit of an idea to do with them, along with the spot towards the end with the former Women's Champions against the new generation of Vixens. Just the same level of symbolism here that I wanted to convey that WWE did in the past year with that same powerful imagery during their Royal Rumble this year with Cena, Rey, and Orton in-ring staring down with the current gen rising stars. The Bradley Clan wanted the spot where Danielle Bradley interferes in the match, but I tweaked it to fit the finish.
My bullet points for this match:
Riot Match for vacant World Championship
I had Xion change the rules at the start to make this go by faster in terms of writing with stables and tag teams, but as I proofreading I felt like it ultimately made it drag on a bit at parts as I was stumbling on keeping track of everyone in spots. FYI I have two separate Google Docs when I do these Riot Matches, one for the results as a whole and a second separate Doc for keeping up with eliminations for my own sanity. The food fight spot I was going to go into more detail about, but to save time I switched back to writing about what everyone back in the ring were doing instead of just standing around/sitting on their hands.
Allow me to repeat myself here. Your entrance number and/or performance in this match is not a reflection of your standing in the efed. You can bounce back from losses. Even if you didn't roleplay for the show, then don't take these results as a knock on your abilities. Come back harder and stronger the next time. This isn't the end. Like Xion tweeted on Twitter prior to the event, this event was the end of an era. Let's start the next "season" of sorts stronger than ever with the next episode of Primetime.

My bullet points for this match:
- Athena reminded me that Serena Dent has been in the efedding world/universe for exactly ten years as of this month, so I had no problem with giving her a spot in this match.
- ♡☈ɑ√əη DΔShΞR and ❀ℋine 'ea❀ all contacted me via Twitter about returns for this match. I asked Genesis too for the main event but like he said in the Shoutbox he wasn't going to be able to get anything in on time.
- Laura Jackson was going to be the MVP here. She always manages to get something in for the shows and I wanted to reward her dedication in this match.
- This was going to be Bella Sinclair's "coming out party" as the new resident powerhouse. Taralyn Skye/Bella Sinclair wanted to debut this character as a last second entry so I added her in before the deadline since she got a segment done for her to include in the results.
- Jade Justice and her husband would debut in this match, that's why he shows up in the crowd. We chat a lot on Facebook and that's what Justin wanted to do since he hasn't had a chance to get a contract application done yet. I was going to have Jade last until the end but thought that a feud between Laura (who eliminated her out of nowhere) or one of the newcomers would be a great place to start.
- TBH I knew the match was going to come down to Zora Graysen Crystal (sarahrichardson) The Grand Zabrina and Laura in some fashion. It was just a matter of going back re-reading roleplays sent in for this match and deciding what would make the best finish here.
- I knew I had to have that imagery of the former champions vs. the current rising stars of the Women's Division to face off at the end. That's honestly why I was doing completely next to nothing with Mariah until that point to stall. I knew I didn't want my own character to win anyway, so I had her in there as filler. Mei, Raven, and Blake didn't give me anything else to go on in terms of what to do with their characters in this match, so I thought it was best for the rising stars to get a big boost of momentum with those eliminations. It doesn't take anything away from the past champions while at the same time, everyone has somewhere to go with this in terms of new feuds and what-not from that.

My bullet points for this match:
- senorvinnie and Patrick requested to start the match with their rivalry setting the tone for the start of the match. TBH I didn't decide on Vinnie winning the match until VERY late into writing the results. I was focused on ending the Machine storyline and after I got to that point in the results, I started looking back at promos and considering who should win. Then I mapped the rest of the match out from there. Patrick asked for the swift elimination for Jayson too, so I just used the Mega Busters for that. Could merely write that off as their good luck continuing for that weekend when they competed in NGW's Tag Team Series.
FYI they were recently eliminated this past weekend in the second round. I had fun though so it's all good. - Squall Leonhart The Bradley Clan Carnage The Legendary Doombringer and ❤Rose❤ all had a part to play in the end of the Machine here as promised. Carnage got to take out Xion as that was the end game for his storyline for months now. I felt that we've dragged that out long enough and I'm honestly burnt out on ideas on this story. It's best to move on. The good guys won and let's see where we go from here.
- Carnage flipping out after his manager was taken out, was ripped directly from that time Catrina was knocked out in Lucha Underground and Mil Muertes made everyone pay for it afterwards before carrying her to the back.
- Casey (❤Rose❤) and The Doombringer (The Legendary Doombringer) taking seemingly everything from everyone wasn't a burial. I was establishing them as the forces of nature to beat here. Brother Zachariah's prompt elimination of KingOfHighSpots was to even up their score in their feud. Plus it made sense to me for him to crash Equinox's "party" in that fashion. Their rivalry continues if they want to go that route.
- Crystal getting payback on Danielle Bradley for attempting to cost her the match. At first I wasn't going to include a run-in by Crystal, but the more I thought about it, it made sense to keep this feud going in some fashion. Whether Crystal wins the Women's Championship or not, she's already got multiple opponents on her radar - Zora, Zabrina, and now Danielle.
- I knew I was killing off the Rocketts WEEKS before this show was going to be booked. The old dumpster spot was perfect. Carnage and the Bradleys can brag about taking out the trash LITERALLY for months to come.
- Bobbi Jackson and TheFrosts coming out last and showing off their teamwork, naturally as the Tag Team Champions. I cooked up the spot where Eliza "accidentally" pins Bobbi to create tension in the match, so I apologize if I unintentionally screwed up your storyline. My goal here was creating a redemption story of sorts that Bobbi could come back to down the road if she ever wanted to challenge for the title again - on a 1-on-1 basis, given her trials and tribulations to prove herself time and time again.
