“Do you know what I plan to do to you, Crystal?” Vi growled.
She didn’t look up at the camera at all.
“You think I’m going to do the same thing I did last time I faced you? No, that was something I did out of fury built up. I was stuck in a frenzy from losing my championship. I needed a release from all the fire built up in. It was human instinct, preservation taking over my system to keep me safe.”
“I’ve lost now. I have died. I have suffered in the pits of Hell and have made my way out.”
“And most of all, I destroyed you. So, now you’re teaming with the next person I plan to make a victim of. I’m stuck teaming with some arrogant twat that doesn’t know what a demon looks like, what a monster looks like, and how close I am to just rip her apart for even thinking she can take away all that I have left. So, I’m calmer now. I’m at peace with myself now,” Vi snickered, a rare vocalization out of her.
“So, what do you believe I can do now?” she closed her planner, placing it down beside her disappointingly.
“Typically, I would just break your bones, make you bleed, and degrade you to something less than the legend that you’ve made yourself to be. However, that’s not my plan this time. That scheme belonged to the former woman who faced you. Throughout my suffering, I have reached Nirvana. I have truly ascended into a higher plane that only you wish you could reach for.”
“I’m going to make you feel smaller than an ant. I’m going to have to rob you of all your confidence. Because I cannot do that to your legacy. No, you worked hard for that,” she said, smiling gently. “It’s just that I have to rip apart your mind. It’s the only way to make you obey me, the GZWA Women’s Champion. For my vision is on Talia now and all that I need to do to her.”
“You’re one of my many critics.” she said. “In order to show myself to Talia, to give her a glimpse of what lies beyond for her, I have to make sure that I pick you apart. Rip you apart and strike fear in the heart of an ignorant fool. If I can do that to you, I can do that to her. I can do it to this girl by my side, yelping for a chance.”
Vi sighed.
“I’m not the same woman that I was before when we faced last time. I had a terrible issue holding me down. There was something wrong in my head that kept me from being the best I could be. Yet, in one night, it ended. So, now that I can see clearly. I don’t see veins needing to be ripped out…what do I see?”
“I see some stupid fools trying hard to give me a headache.”
“And I don’t like that.”
