The scene opens in the GM's office where we find the girlfriend to the owner, Justice, dressed smartly and taking care of some recently-neglected paperwork sitting on her desk.
OCC: Minus that stoopid hat
After a few moments, Justice looks up and glances from someone off-camera to the camera while smiling warmly.
Well, met gents! What may I do for you?
Actually, a few moments of your time would be great, Justice.
A most welcome distraction! Let me just remove my things so that we may converse more comfortably.
While a loud gulp is heard off-camera, Justice piles up the papers on her desk, taps them on the table a couple of times and sets them aside. When that is done, Justice clasps her hands together, interlocking her fingers as she smiles at the interviewer.
Another day at the office?
Sadly. There is the possibility of a number of releases after the upcoming pay-per-view and ZX instructed me to complete the paperwork beforehand.
And that doesn't bother you at all.
Quite the contrary! We are talking about people's livelihoods here. In addition to this, we do not "Future Endeavor" easily. We, as a company as well as ZX and myself personally, feel that the company, and the industry as a whole, are better served by working with our talent to aid them in their careers. We would much rather take someone with no talent but incredible heart and desire, make them a sensation and relish in the fact that the industry has a new celebrity. People that are released deserve it.
Wouldn't Sensational Mary and Nathan Simmons fall under the category of "deserving it"?
Justice chuckles slightly.
Most undoubtedly.
But they are still emplyed in GZWA because.......
Now that is a touch more complicated. ZX and I own the company, with him being the majority stockholder. We do not have total control however. There is a Board of Directors in addition to stockholders that we must answer to. Short answer, they stay. Having said that, this is a wrestling company after all....
Yes. Yes it is. That's actually a great segue into ZX's match at Riot Control. How is he doing? What is he feeling/thinking?
He is great! This match is purely academic. With or without that slapper Mary, Simmons is unable to out-wrestle my mate. In addition, with the fury he feels after their attacks on my person, the only thing either of them will be doing is wailing like a... a.... oh what is the word....
The cameraman calls out: "Bitch"
Precicely.
But isn't this the match that almost ended his career? Doesn't fear enter into the equation at some point?
That it is. There is an old saying: One learns more in defeat than victory. Of course my mate is afraid, but it is that fear, and the respect that comes with it, that makes him even more dangerous in this match. He is well aware of what can happen and is driven to not allow a repeat performance.
How is all of this on you? Not only are you not allowed to participate, but being relegated to commentary to watch the entire thing must be frustrating.
It is bollocks! You are correct, I am extremely angry and frustrated. I also have two satisfactions to tide me over. One, I am fortunate enough to be able to watch my mate, the "Fighting Dreamer" dispose of those two single-handedly. Two, I am aware that my time will come. The more that I rest and recouperate, the sooner that day will come.
We saw on ReAction that conversation you had with your doctor. Do you think he is holding you back on purpose?
Undoubtedly. My physician despises the wrestling industry. An occupational hazard really. On the one hand, it makes him a very rich man. On the other, he has seen too many lives destroyed by this business. I know full well that he is merely looking out for my well-being. It is not always a good thing to have a mate as your physician.
Justice laughs.
Will he ever let you return to in-ring competition?
Above all else, he is a bloke of his word. He will clear me the second the pay-per-view goes off the air. Then Simmons, and that World Title, are mine. Why? Because I can.
Did you just put the entire locker room on notice?
Yes. Yes I did.
Justice smiles evilly as the camera fades.
