The Reason.... (OPEN PROMO)

*While lights dim, a video montage of Machida's best wrestling moments come on. As Machida comes running into the ring, the song Not Afraid starts, and fireworks fly.
The crowd starts booing him, and rejecting Machida's attempt at trying to welcome the crowd. Seeing what the crowd is doing, Machida gets frustrated and attempts to adjust to this situation. He grabs a mic and starts to explain.*


Machida: "You guys are probably wondering why the hell, I did that to Wade. Well I'm going to tell you, and for those of you who didn't see it, let's just look back and have a quick refresher."

*A quick playback of when Machida gets tagged in, moonsaults Wade Barrett then leaves. Leaving Wade injured, and to fend for himself. Which inevitably led to Wade Barrett lose under the hands of the "Way of Damnation", the powerful tag team.*

Machida: "I'm here to make a statement. Sure, I betrayed my own tag team partner, but nonetheless, to make a statement here in the GZWA doesn't just mean winning the title, no. To make a statement, you must do something in the GZWA that puts everyone here on notice, and that's what I'm trying to accomplish here. Whether it'd be winning the title or not, I'm here to make my mark on the GZWA franchise and be known as one of the best, and most well-known people here in the GZWA. Be warned, that diving moonsault i did to Wade is just a glimpse of what is to come. So either hate me, fear me, or respect me, you will sure as hell know me.

Wade, if you're out there, I know you want payback. I'm challenging you to a singles match for next week. Just a straight up one on one. No managers, no interruptions, just me, you, the ref, and the ring. I don't care if you don't take me up on my offer. I'm just warning you if you do, you better bring your A game, because crazy things are going to happen on the night of our match, crazy things..."

*Machida leaves the ring, leaving the crowd in mixed feelings on what to do. Although they hate Machida for doing such a bad thing to Barrett, they have a sense of respect for him.*


Commentator: Oh man! How in the world will Wade Barrett respond to Machida's challenge?

STATIK: Please excuse the interuption but did i hear you say the word "respect"?, you think what you did deserves respect?, and that we will "know" you?, dream on man, you may have got the attention by doing the classic partner abandoning ..thing..., but surely you saw my match, i hold the record for the fastest win on that show, and i know that's what people are really talking about, so you can be all caught up in what you think is big news, but deep down...c'mon, i'm the real hero of the moment right now, and no offence to you or Wade, you can sort out whatever beef you have at a later date, cos right now i feel like i want some real competetion, so if your man enough to face not only a woman, but the FUTURE of futures, then why don't you face me in your next match, i need competition and you want respect, maybe we can both in one match, what do you say boy?

Machida: "Interesting statement, but come on, let's face it? You may have the fastest win here on GZWA, but there's only been ONE show. In my eyes, that was only luck, and there are two different things between divas and superstars. Divas are too easy! I mean look at it this way. Why does every sport industry have a separate league for the guys and the girls? Because they don't want to see the girls get smoked by the guys in whatever sport it could be. And the same rules apply for wrestling, but as I'm seeing it, no one else has the guts to come out here and take this challenge. I take on any and every challenge and never back down. When I step into this ring, I'm the judge, jury and executioner, and it looks like your death sentence will be this Friday. "

STATIK: oh you promice?, my death sentence hey?, bring it on because i'd rather go down in a blaze of glory than beat someone who shouldn't even bother getting out of bed, and ya know what Machy?, i respect you for not letting politics get in the way of a challenge and your also right about no one having the balls to respond to you, not even Wade had the balls to respond...

And all that says to me is that I am instantly greater than all of them put together, and when i get going, there won't be anything fluke about me, and i'm looking forward to prooving to you and everyone that Statik don't play nice, and that goes for men and women, a fist is still a fist and a face will still be broken, i could care less about winning or losing, but the fact of the matter is,your gunna have to near kill yourself to even come close to beat me, i'm faster, i'm probably stronger, and more important, i look so much better in tights, haha, , just promice me one thing, whoever wins, we shake hands and move on, that's all i ask of you man..

Machida:I admire the fact, that you respect other people, and their dignity. As for me? I just get by, day by day everyday. I don't care if you're nice to me or not, I don't give a damn. If I like you, then I like you, and if I don't... Well let's just say you're gonna be in a world of hurt. As for you Statik, you're about borderline with me so far. I like the fact that you have guts, and accept and seek for any challenge, and every challenge, but I'm kind of offended that a girl, would take me up on this challenge, and not a guy. It's almost as if the GZWA isn't taking me as serious as I want them to. and I'll tell you this, I'm going to make a statement in our little match. In response to your "shaking of hands, and respecting one another." We'll just see what happens this Friday.

STATIK: *laughing to herself*...a world of hurt?, a world of pain?, a world of me driving you insane YEE HAW!, haha, no..i'm not some stupid redneck, but from the sound of you, you seem to stuck in the 80's, but if that's your outlook on life then so be it, and i'm like you, i couldn't care less if i'm liked or hated, but the world has no option but to love me, and one day you will wake up and see me, and see that i have no morals, and i don't have any remorse, and i don't double think things, i go on pure adrenaline, it was my decision to get your attention, it was my decision to challenge you and it will be my decision on how much i leave of you to go after Wade, and you will have no option to shake my hand, and as for the rest of the roster,maybe i am the only one who does this kind of thing, and maybe that means we have to one day team up and take down anyone who really doesn't belong here, because my future is bright, and reality is..SH..SHH ..SHHHH..SHOCKING!
