I'll start - Being a massive movie geek watching at least one film a day that i haven't seen, it's not an exaggeration when i say its damn hard to come across a film or for someone to mention a movie that i ain't seen. So my question is! - Does anyone know a film that is obviously good that they could suggest that they think i might not have seen. I watch all genres and all budget movies so throw some titles at me, thank you please!...

If you want a horror movie that's not around the norm, watch High Tension. European film but worth it - two lesbian chicks are stalked by some crazy guy who just randomly kills anyone who tries to get close to them. Mind you this one is a bit old though so it should be rather easy to find.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. George Clooney's first film and freaking hillarious! Face Off with Travolta and Cage. The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. I think it's Sarah Polley's first film and wonderful guest cast. Ladyhawk is Michelle Pfiffer's first film and arguably her best. Rutger Hauer too.

It was Return of the killer tomatoes that George Clooney was in and i am not sure if that was his first movie as he was also in Return to Horror high. Have you seen any movies from this list right here. Phantasm Subspecies Versus Near Dark They Live Shock 'Em Dead The Stuff Tokyo gore police

Me and my friend are starting a radio show on our university campus radio station and the show is all about cinema and movies. So, I decided to revive this topic After all, it's all about cinema
Now, yesterday I watched "Captain America: The First Avenger". And the movie was... Okay. It truly wasn't amazing. I loved the costumes and the entire scenography. I also enjoyed the action scenes, they were choreographed pretty well. The creators managed to keep the suspense and the right feel through the entire movie. But, even though I know that this is a comic book adaptation, I still think that the movie seemed over the top at moments and also to cartoony for my taste. Also, upfront, I didn't read any of the Captain America comics or seen any other adaptations. All in all, I think the movie was a nice visual treat, but nothing I haven't seen before and surely there are much better comic books adaptations than this one.
What are your opinions about "Captain America: The First Avenger"?

I didn't like it either, I'm kind've over the Superhero moves anyway. Only ones I really liked was the X-Men ones and the first two Spider Man

Wasn't a fan of it. I feel asleep watching it.
Now you want to talk about great movies let's talk about the newest resident evil movie. Now if anyone seen the trailer you would know right away about it. Now I want to know if anyone else is excited to see it as I am.

I am not a fan of the "Resident Evil" movie franchise. Of course, I don't really have anything very against it. To me it just seems like they make those movies just for the sake of making them and they all seem pretty similar. The films are pretty much just the computer game on a huge screen. But I do think that it will have some stunning visuals, since Anderson is known for adapting computer game storylines to the big screen and special effects, action scenes are kinda his thing. The beginning of the trailer seemed pretty cool though, I really liked the whole "commercial" feel

I've read a bit of Captain America's older stuff, but I'd be lying if was a fan. His movie came off as a huge "meh" from start to finish IMO. It was just necessary to do his film to set the stage for his inclusion in the Avengers movie. Captain America is like the most important piece to that puzzle. I'll say this much, his film was light-years better than that Green Lantern and those two Daredevil related movies.

I am actually tempted to see "The Green Lantern". I've heard so much bad stuff about the movie that it is starting to look interesting LOL. And I agree, "Captain America" really was "meh, seen it".

It was worse for me watching Captain America as it was exactly a cookie cut-out of what you can easily read from wikipedia on his history. Plus that story has been done to death, even the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes cartoon did the story months before the movie came out to toss more salt into the wound.

Yeah i wasn't impressed with Green Lantern or Captain america and also think even though it was overall quite polished i think it was rushed to release in time for the avengers. Also THOR i think is worth a watch but was still missing something. The avengers however i have to say looks like it's going to be AWESOME!...
Also talking about X-men - first class is now probably my favourite of them films with wolverine not far behind.

Saw a few movies over the weekend and decided just write down my opinion 1. "The Hunger Games". I've read all three books and I really enjoyed them and I simply couldn't wait for the movie to finally premiere. And I actually wasn't disappointed Of course, you can be knit-picky and find some things wrong, but in general the movie was actually quite good. It did lack more action and violence in the arena and the love scenes were a bit forced for me, but the costumes were amazing and the actors really did a spectacular job. I was really surprised by Lenny Kravitz's performance. He has this charisma and magnetism to him that makes you want to watch him. 2. "Alvin and the Chipmunks. Chipwrecked". My 7 year old cousin asked me to go with her and see it. And it was true torture. I do understand that the movie is family orientated and supposed to be kid friendly, but the creators of movies like this seem to think that their audience are absolute morons. The acting was horrendous, the music made my ears bleed, the plot lacked creativity and originality and in general the movie was boring as hell. I hated it and I will never go see any "chipmunks" movie ever again. 3. "(500) Days of Summer". Yes, I am that late to finally see this movie. I really enjoyed it. I'm not the one to like chick flicks and romantic movies, but this was definitely an exception. The scenography was simply amazing, the costumes were lovely and so was the soundtrack, the cast did a spectacular job. And the movie has Joseph Gordon - Lewitt, what more can I ask for? Yes, this movie is a chick flick, but it's far from cheesy, corny or lame. The movie is full of warmth, spirit and a deep and sensitive story. I really recommend it

Dear Jesus with a skirt, this movie seems absolutely awesome After "The Dark Knight Rises", this is probably the next most anticipated movie of the year for me And it stars Joseph Gordon - Lewitt. What more can you ask for?
