*OOC: This goes together with skit I sent in for the show*.
As it came closer to showtime. Genesis was in the locker room. Getting prepared for the opening match. Just moments before we went on the air. He learns that one of his opponents for tonight, April Hunter, was going to be unable to compete this evening. As it was announced just as the Slammiversary 'Pre-Show' was going off the air. The announcers were unaware of what happened. But they knew for sure. April Hunter would not be competing in the opening bout tonight.
A smile came over his face. As he knew the very reason why. When Christy Hemme approached him backstage for a quick comment before the match. He said to her. Without giving her the chance to ask the questions.
Genesis - "I know what your going to say. So lemme give you the answers you need. Its about April Hunter, isn't it?"
Christy shakes her head in confusion.
Christy Hemme: But Genesis... what are you talking abo...
Before she could open her mouth. He puts his finger over her lips. Motions her to be quiet. As he delivers to Christy & the world a startling message...
Genesis - "I guess you didn't hear. But allow me to explain. Her absence is only fitting. But trust in me as I say this to you. She's been properly disposed of..."
Just then, a rumbling of security guards, EMT's, etc, start racing down the hallway outside Gen's locker room. Christy is puzzled as to what all this commotion is all about. Gen. chuckled to himself. As she looked back at him with this weird 'WTF!?' look:
Genesis - "Spill in Locker Room 17. Best go & do your job, Christy. While I head out to the ring & do mine. Deal?"
Then, Christy left the locker room to head down to see what was going on. As she approached the room. She peaked her head in to see that it was April Hunter. Found knocked unconscious. A deep gash in the back of her head. With a barbed-wire aluminum baseball bat laying beside her. The bat too... sprayed of blood. As she became overwhelmed with shock & nausea. She knew... right then. Who was responsible for all this...
EMT's loaded her up on the stretcher. Christy attempts to get a comment from somebody. But they all brush her aside. Rushing April out of the locker room. As fast as they could. They take April out of the arena. Load her up into an ambulance, then rush her to the nearest hospital.
While all this is happening. Christy stands outside the locker room door. Weeping. With her hand covering her mouth. As she was getting sick at her stomach. Just thinking about what happened in that room. How defenseless April was when the attack occurred. How she had no chance to defend herself. Her imagination running wild as to what, or how Genesis could've done this to her. The way he acted earlier. Was proof that he was the one responsible for this deadly assault.
She looked up to hallway. To see Genesis walk out of his own locker room. Shutting the door behind. He peers down the hallway to see Christy once more. Before he would walk off to head down to the 'gorilla position'. For final preparations for his big match.
He , and said to Christy:
Genesis - "Batter Up! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
