Susan Rigger sits in the hotel lounge, sloshing her martini about in the glass she's holding before her face. The place is dimly lit as slow, somewhat bluesy music plays in the background. Susan's getting bored of waiting, but then again she can really only blame herself for not making calls before her departure from Heathrow. She brings the glass to her ruby lips and takes a sip, then puts the glass down and stands up, finally smiling as she wraps her arms around her dear friend.
Bobbi: Hey sorry I'm late...
Bobbi says with a slight sigh at the end of her sentence.
Bobbi: Hasn't been a good day, good to see a smiling face...
Bobbi slowly breaks the hug and sits down. Slouching in the booth a bit letting out another sigh.
Susan: Trust me sweetie, I know the feeling all too well.
She sits back down as well, across the table from Bobbi and reaches over to gently take Bobbi's hand in hers.
Susan: It's been really rough sailing back home, but I think I've finally managed to navigate my way through the worst of it. You know how things can get with family.
Bobbi nods in silence, as she can completely relate to how Susan is feeling.
Susan: Diana raised a damn ruckuss when she got there, like any of us needed that after what Scott put us all through because of that whore he was going to marry.
The buxom Britt just shakes her head as she leans back in her seat, squeezing Bobbi's hand just a bit tighter.
Susan: It's good to be back here with you.
Bobbi: Well I appreciate you coming back for my match, that freakin psycho Emmagrace has gotten on my last nerve and I need to end it this weekend, I need to end her...So I can move on with my life.
Bobbi squeezes Susans hand a hint tighter as well as she tries to force a weak smile.
Susan smiles as she leans over the table, kissing Bobbi on the cheek.
Susan: You know if ever you need me all you need to do is ask. I know I haven't been giving work as much focus as I should have, what with the family all but falling apart and all, but I'm here now.
Bobbi: I know..it means a lot to me that you're here. Thank you...
Bobbi looks down as she trembles a bit obviously this last month hasn't been very easy on her emotional well being either.
Susan places her other hand on top of Bobbi's as her emerald-green eyes look into Bobbi's.
Susan: I think it's about time for the both of us to shed some unwanted weight off our backs, I the trouble at home and you this Emmagrace person. What's her deal anyway?
Bobbi: She's nuts, that's her deal. Just so sick of dealing with it.
Bobbi says with frustration evident in her voice.
Susan: Well, we'll make sure to deal with the crazy bitch once and for all, okay? Any help you need with it, consider it done.
A little smile on her lips, Bobbi's eyes meet Susan.
Bobbi: Thank you, I appreciate it.
Holding one another's hands, the girls smile at one another tenderly as a waiter comes to check on them and the scene fades to black.
