Short Description of Wrestler: Matt Sydal is 5ft7 & 185 lbs.
He is a former high-school wrestler and has a background in martial arts, gymnastics and backyard wrestling. He started out
at age 15 as a play by play commentator for wrestling school/show Gateway Championship Wrestling, at age 17 he got
his wrestling license, one year underage. He made a name for
himself all over the independent scene until 2005 when he was
getting offers from TNA, Dragon Gate in WWE, he went to Dragon
Gate and WWE where he currently performs as Evan Bourne, his
boss and chairman of WWE is allowing him to work on the indies
as Matt Sydal. Matt Sydal is tweener, he's mostly babyface but can get cocky at times, his hybrid cruiserweight style is a mix of
American, Mexican and Japanese wrestling styles making him a
sound ground technician and aerial dare devil, he is quite simply
a mercenary of this art and sport. Sydal is the proclaimed
"best of the best in independent professional"
